Volunteering Role

Adsis recruits volunteers to support individuals that have issues with their own or someone else's alcohol or dependency. Your role will entail working with client's on an individual basis, using counselling techniques to support the clients changes they wish to make.

Please note that we also offer volunteering positions for administration, meeting and greeting, group facilitating and IT support, which would not necessarily require as intensive training as the Volunteer Support Worker positions. Requirements to Volunteer

You must be able to:

  • Commit to 12 months with Adsis
  • Have a reasonable level of English and Mathematics (as reading, writing case notes, paperwork and working out alcohol units are essential to this role).  NB Only a requirement for one to one client work.
  • Commit to personal development training
  • Comply to our code of ethics, policies and procedures

Adsis recruit volunteers all year round but only intake as the business needs require.

Return your completed application form. At specific dates application forms go through a shortlisting panel, if you are successful you will then be invited to a Interview / Selection Day, unfortunately we do not respond to applicants who have not been invited due to limited resources, although you are welcome to phone for feedback if you have not heard from us.
